HQW Architects and the congregation of the Trinity United Methodist Church http://www.catchthespirit.org developed a 20-year facilities master plan to ensure that the goals outlined in their strategic plan could be met. One of the critical components of the master plan was the renovation to the existing Sanctuary.
The historic Sanctuary was constructed in the early 1880’s and has always been the spiritual center of the Church campus. HQW developed a phased plan where the finished space will include a larger, more open altar area; a flexible performance platform for the Choir and Bell Ringers; new lighting, new mechanical systems, improved audio / visual capabilities, improved acoustics, new paint, and accommodations to make the space more handicapped accessible.
