Pope John XXIII Regional High School http://popejohn.org is a private parochial institution located in northwest New Jersey.  The school accommodates 700 students enrolled in grades 8 through 12.  When the school was in need of improved facilities for their performance arts programs, they contacted HQW Architects to design a two-phased new construction project that would satisfy their current needs while planning for their future growth.

The result is a new theater building, constructed in phase I, which will provide the students with state-of-the-art theatrical facilities.  These include an orchestra pit, follow spot room, projection room, and fully mechanized stage rigging.  Additional spaces include classrooms and theater support spaces.  Phase II will include additional general classrooms, a robotics classroom, and a teachers lounge.
