The McAuley School for Exceptional Children http://www.mcauleyschool.org, is a non-profit educational facility for children and young adults with multiple disabilities.  Currently located at the Mount Saint Mary Academy in the Watchung Mountains, the school will be moving to a larger facility to accommodate their growing student enrollment.

HQW Architects was retained to provide full architectural services for the renovation and addition to a newly acquired building.  The new facility will have a student capacity of 75 to 80 students and accommodations will be made to address any special requirements of the student population.  In addition to classrooms, the facility will include physical, occupational, vocational, and speech therapy rooms, as well as a full kitchen and administrative space.
