For all preservation projects, documenting the historic resource is the important first step. To that end, McCabe & Associates, Inc. has produced high-quality reports on buildings and structures throughout New Jersey. We have conducted an historic analysis of an abandoned local branch of the Central New Jersey Railroad in Ocean County, produced a Section 106 report for a Moravian Distillery in Hope, provided consultations on a private renovation of an 1850 dwelling in Newton, and included Mahwah’s Darlington School in a comprehensive survey of Mahwah’s historic sites. Many old buildings and structures deserve the recognition and protection offered by both the State and National Registers of Historic Places. The firm of McCabe & Associates, Inc. can prepare documents for presentation to New Jersey and national review boards for individuals, organizations, and public agencies.
